Save Money by Breaking Your Relationship

Below is an infographic which suggests that in order for us to save some money, we need to dump those we are in a relationship with as it is the best way to save your wallet.  The infographic goes on showing the specific figures that one could save if not in a relationship such as fancy dinners, gifts, etc, etc.

Being an advocate for saving money and while I am single, I immediately thought: “How miserable of an advice is this?!” I may not have been in a relationship and never really had to worry about fancy dinners, gas expenses and all those stuff that married people of those in a relationship have, I don’t think it’s necessary to sacrifice the things that makes a couple happy. It may be advisable, though, to become more frugal in the experience but not to totally avoid being in a relationship just to save money.
