Is it Possible to Save Money and Save the Earth?

We all want a better place to live in where everyone is able to provide for their families, living in an environment where our health are not compromised. We all dream of a clean, abundant Earth than it already is.

Below is a video which explains a Plentitude Economy where it suggests that working hours be reduced so that more time will be spent on activities that people love and are truly passionate about and building on social capital as opposed to borrow-spend consumer culture.

The animation provides a vision of what a post-consumer society could look like, with people working fewer hours and pursuing re-skilling, homesteading, and small-scale enterprises that can help reduce the overall size and impact of the consumer economy.

I think that being able to work on the things that we truly are passionate about and the part where we would be able to connect more with those we’re in contact with is a great concept.
